3 facts about Sydney:
1. Sydney has transformed from a penal colony. Captain Arthur Phillip originally named the colony "New Albion", but for some uncertain reason the colony acquired the name "Sydney".
2. Flower of Sydney: Banksia Ericifolia.
3. George Street was originally known (at least part of it) as High Street.

This day we traveled to the Mount Remarkable National Park. We were badly impressed when came to the park and weren't able make a payment by cash to the envelope (it's a usual practice in Australian parks). There were 2 options to pay: 1. online 2. in few shops but 15 km away from the park. Of course, we chose online payment... but... my mobile and my cousin's were out of service. Husband's mobile's worked but connection was so bad. Finally we made a payment and visited the park. Other visitors from Queensland weren't so lucky. They came back and were going to make a call to the park office and complain about this situation.
Last day in the Flinders Ranges National Park. I was so proud of myself when I reached the top of the mount Ohissen Bagge. I am not a good hiker and 923 m were too high for me.
Sacred Canyon is a small canyon located 19 km north of Wilpena in Flinders Ranges National Park. This is a place where you can find some examples of the ancient Aboriginal rock engravings. The age of the engravings is not known...
Christmas time and so calm around us. We travel to a small town Blinman. This place looks like a old-style movie. I like it!
Peterborough. We stopped and explored this a small but lovely town in South Australia. Flinders Ranges National Park is amazing. We stayed at Wilpina Pound resort inside the park. It was place without Internet... just nature and we. A lot of emus and kangaroo around. Nice smell of eucalyptus. Beautiful trails to discover the park.
Mungo national park's located about 100kms from Mildura. The self-drive tour was great.
